This website does install cookies. No cookie that is not strictly necessary is installed before you authorise it: the scripts that set them remain blocked until you decide in the cookie notice. The same applies to the identifier of the website's own measurement, which is stored in the browser's session storage: it is not created and no measurement is sent until you authorise «Análisis o medición» (Analytics or measurement).

Types of cookies by origin, purpose and duration

Whichever cookies this website uses, the regulations distinguish the following types, and the references in this policy should be understood accordingly:

By who manages them (origin):

First-party cookies: sent and managed by the owner of the website itself from a device or domain managed by the owner.

Third-party cookies: sent and managed by an entity other than the owner of the website (for example, an analytics provider, an advertising provider or an embedded video provider), which is the one that processes the data obtained.

By purpose:

Technical or necessary: they allow navigation and the use of the website's functions (session, security, load balancing, remembering the choice about cookies). They are exempt from consent in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).

Preference or personalisation: they remember the user's options, such as the language or the appearance of the website.

Analytics or measurement: they make it possible to find out, in aggregate form, how the website is used in order to improve it.

Advertising and behavioural advertising: they manage advertising space and, in the second case, profile browsing habits in order to show related ads.

By retention period:

Session cookies: deleted when the browser or the tab is closed.

Persistent cookies: they remain on the device for the period set by whoever installs them, which must never exceed what is necessary for their purpose.

Except for technical or necessary cookies, no cookie may be installed before the user gives consent, and refusing is equivalent to not installing any of those that depend on it.

Legal basis

Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested are exempt from consent (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE). All the others —analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies— are installed only with your prior, free, specific and informed consent, which you can withdraw at any time as easily as you gave it.

pw_s (session identifier of the website's own measurement) — origin: first-party (no third party is involved) — type: analytics or measurement, subject to your consent — purpose: to measure, in aggregate form, which pages and sections are viewed and which buttons are clicked within a single visit, without identifying the person — storage: browser session storage (sessionStorage), it is not a cookie — expiry: when the tab is closed — it is only stored if you authorise «Análisis o medición» (Analytics or measurement); if you reject it or withdraw it, it is not stored and any existing one is deleted.

Purposes you can authorise

These are the purposes shown in the cookie notice, each with its own switch:

Necesarias (siempre activas) (Necessary, always active) — Essential for the website to work and to remember your choice about cookies. They are exempt from consent (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE) and cannot be switched off.

Análisis o medición (Analytics or measurement) — They make it possible to count visits and find out which content is of interest, in aggregate form. If you do not accept them, no measurement cookie is installed and no analytics script is loaded.

Data processors and international transfers

Google Ireland Limited — Processor of the audience measurement (Google Analytics 4). Transfer to Google LLC (United States) covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision of 10 July 2023.

How to accept, configure and withdraw consent

When you first visit this website you will see a notice with three options at the same level: Rechazar todo (Reject all), Preferencias (Preferences) and Aceptar todo (Accept all). No box is ticked by default and saving without ticking any is equivalent to rejecting them all. Continuing to browse is not equivalent to accepting. The cookie notice and its buttons are displayed in Spanish, also on the English pages of this website, so this policy gives their English equivalent in brackets.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the «Preferencias de cookies» (Cookie preferences) link in the footer of this website, which opens the same panel where you made it. When you withdraw a purpose, the associated cookies are deleted and the page is reloaded so that they stop acting immediately.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and the rest have this option in their privacy settings).

Validity of your consent

Your choice is kept for a maximum of 24 months. After that period —or if this policy changes— you will be asked again.

Technical cookie for the consent itself

So that you are not asked the same question on every page, a first-party cookie called pw_consent is stored with your choice. It is a technical and necessary cookie (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE): it is installed without prior consent, it does not identify the person beyond a random identifier, and it serves exclusively to remember what you chose and to be able to prove it.
